Sanjusangen-do Temple, The height of Buddhist ecstasy is found in this hall.It was built in 1266,and 1001 statues of Kannon are standing inside of the hall.The Kannon statue in the center is the work of Tankei, a famous sculptor in the Kamakura period. |
